Overview

Starting pay for this role is £12.11 per hour for the first six months. During which time Swissport will work to develop your new skills and experiences required for the role, once attained and on completion of probation, you will receive a further 1.5% increase.

 

A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS DESIRABLE FOR THIS ROLE AND TO PASS AN AIRSIDE DRIVING TEST

 

The rota will be  WORKING 4 ON 2 OFF with a variety of shifts, so full flexibility, on a full time basis.

Rota's are produced with 28 days notice

Summary 

 

As an Aircraft Services Agent you will provide our customers with an efficient professional cleaning service as per their specifications to include secure cleans/searches as requested.  You will abide to the relevant airport policies and our own company policies and procedures. Health and Safety Policies, Ramp Awareness and Operational excellence will play a key part in this role. Project a smart ,able attitude to our customers through, thorough work practices and excellent customer service.

 

An enhanced CRB check (CTC) will need to be carried out for this role. Please do an internet search to see what this involves.

Position Overview:

As an Aircraft Cleaning Agent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of aircraft interiors, contributing to a positive passenger experience.

You’ll receive £12.11 per hour for the initial six months. Throughout this period, Swissport will actively foster the development of your skills and knowledge necessary for the role. Upon achieving these benchmarks and successfully completing the probationary period, you will receive an additional 1.5% increment in compensation.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize aircraft interiors, including passenger seating areas, galleys, lavatories, and crew rest compartments.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and disinfect floors to maintain cleanliness standards and ensure passenger safety and comfort.
  • Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures and safety regulations.
  • Restock and replenish supplies such as towels, blankets, and toiletries as needed.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify and report any maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical handling procedures.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in aircraft cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
