Aircraft Cleaning Team Leader (Nights only)

 

Location: Manchester Airport

 

Contract: Full-Time Nights only (does include working on a rota Mon-Sun)

 

Schedule: This is a 4 on and 4 off shift pattern on nights.

 

You must have a UK Manual Driving Licence for this position.

Role Summary

As a Team Leader, you will ensure our customers receive top-notch cleaning services tailored to their specifications, including secure cleans and searches if requested. You'll project a smart, capable attitude through thorough work practices and impeccable personal appearance, always adhering to company policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain High Standards: Ensure aircraft cleaning meets the highest quality standards.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong, healthy business relationships with our customers.
  • Supervision: Regularly supervise and monitor staff performance and service quality.
  • Safety First: Emphasize safety in all aspects of the job, including equipment operation and housekeeping.
  • Compliance: Handle international rubbish correctly and comply with airport authority and carrier security requirements.
  • Adherence to SOPs: Follow Swissport SOPs and policies diligently.
  • Flexibility: Perform other duties as assigned, wearing the correct PPE and uniform at all times.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Experience: You must have previous cleaning, aviation or a similar background.
  • Quick Learner: Adapt quickly to changes in operations and experience of leading teams is desirable.
  • UK Manual Driving Licence is required
  • Team Player: Work well in a team but also independently when needed.
  • Safety-Conscious: Operate safely in a busy environment under time constraints.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit to work in confined spaces and lift heavy weights.
  • Security Compliance: Meet all security requirements and possess a full driving license.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional, polite, and capable manner under pressure.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to different types of cleans as required by customers.
