At Swissport UK&I, we’re seeking an Airport Team Manager who can inspire teams, exceed expectations, and create operational excellence in a dynamic aviation environment. Reporting to the Swissport Station Manager & Head of Department, this pivotal leadership role is your chance to make an impact.

Your Mission: Drive Operational Excellence

You'll lead a diverse workforce, motivating and engaging your team to achieve customer airlines' targets while ensuring compliance with company procedures, policies, and brand values. As a skilled leader, you'll deliver safe, high-quality, and profitable performance aligned with customer expectations and corporate goals.

What You'll Do:

• Champion Safety: Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing health and safety guidelines and supervising behaviours for continuous improvement.
• Optimise Resources: Plan manpower and equipment collaboratively to ensure operational efficiency and exceptional service delivery.
• P&L Accountability: Maximize profits, control costs, and manage station attendance in line with financial goals.
• Inspire Leadership: Build a positive work environment, drive change management projects, and coach future team leaders.
• Deliver Quality: Track and improve performance KPIs for airside activities and ensure compliance with administrative procedures.
• Strategic Vision: Identify growth opportunities, challenge operational norms, and enhance customer relationships to boost business potential.

 What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading large teams with P&L responsibility, preferably in aviation, logistics, or ground handling.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, thriving under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication, relationship-building prowess, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Fluent English language skills, written and spoken.
