Job Title: Customer Service Agent - Lounge Services

Company: Swissport

Location: Heathrow Airport

Contract Type: Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between Monday – Sunday (shift work) 6 on 3 off shift pattern

Salary: £13.99 per hour

 

Overview

 

We are seeing hard working, committed customer service people to deliver outstanding service to our airline customers. You will be an integral part of the team leading by example whilst representing the company and the airline to their customer and ensuring the customer service standards the airline demands on board their aircraft start in the ground.

Responsibilities

Main accountabilities include:

  • You will process customers using an automated DCS or manual system ensuring full compliance with regulatory, company and airline requirements.
  • Ensure you promote a professional image at all times
  • Consistently deliver the highest possible customer service at all times
  • You will deal with disruption and irregularities with confidence and composure
  • You will primarily work in the Executive Lounge but may be required to assist in other areas
  • Always work to ensure safety is never compromised

  • Cooperate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company
  • Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health and safety or welfare reasons
  • Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety
  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in the manual
  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures
  • Fully understand the company health and safety policy
  • Attend training courses as may b e arranged by the company

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • You will have excellent people skills and be an excellent communicator
  • You will have a real passion in delivering outstanding customer service
  • You will have the ability to drive through policies and procedures, and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • You will have a good working knowledge of Airline standards
  • You will be a very proactive, forward thinking and a trustworthy individual
