Overview

QHSE Station Advisor

Location: Bristol, this role will require Regional Travel

Reporting to: Regional QHSE Manager

The QHSE Station Support Advisor is a key leader to drive the Zero incident and a Zero waste culture within the region, including assurance that operational QHSE delivery is in accordance with the industry’s and Swissport’s global quality, safety & environment management systems and standards.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary QHSE contact for station teams

  • Embed QHSE practices across operations

  • Deliver performance reports and maintain risk register

  • Lead cultural change initiatives

  • Conduct audits and support incident investigations

  • Promote knowledge sharing and global collaboration

  • Develop station QHSE team

  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Align station practices with global QHSE strategy

  • Support strategic planning and action delivery

  • Implement QHSE Management System

  • Ensure ISO/OHSAS compliance and certification readiness

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of UK and industry-specific QHSE regulations

  • Proven experience with QHSE systems and behavioural safety programmes

  • Certified ISO/OHSAS auditor (preferred)

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) and General Certificate (minimum)

  • IOSH membership required

  • Skilled in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis

  • Effective communicator with strong organisational skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster a safety-first culture

  • High integrity and adaptability in fast-paced environments

  • Willingness to travel extensively
